Yes as it washes away the toothpaste that drops out of my mouth whilst brushing, I don't have it running a full blast though
Have you considered this method:
1) Tap on, wet brush, toothpaste on, tap off
2) Brush your teeth
3) Stuff drips into the sink and doesn't wash away
4) Tap on, rinse brush, and magically the toothpaste that drips out of your mouth goes down the plug hole.

Why are you so bothered about toothpaste in the sink? Just rinse it at the end.

Nope I pay the water bill so I use as much as I'm willing to pay for, also I found that the amount of water taken to clean the sink is probably the same as the slow flow that I leave running.

Of course, I've got more important things on my mind than worrying about saving a few pence and time turning the tap on and off.

My life > water bill.

In all seriousness, no because I'm lazy.

I pay the water bill, don't really see what relevance it has to what we're talking about.

Also, did you really? I'm sure you measured it to the mL

And that’s what we pay water rates for.

Do you not think it's pretty stupid to needlessly pay for something?
You're also ignoring the ecological impact of the increased resources.

Keep in mind it's normally southern England that's impacted by things such as hosepipe bans when reservoirs run low...Where do you live again?

I pay for fuel right so I can chuck out as much smog as I want from my car?

No.

Tap on for pre toothpaste application and post-dental cleansing rinsing only. I don't even stay in the bathroom, I get bored and just walk about randomly for a couple of minutes.
