Stock settings no doubt. Someone should do max OC 5700xt v 2070S max oc, then lets see if the 2070s is worth the 25% price premium.

Its not

When you get a chance to read the review you’ll find out why overclocking was avoided.

According to this review the 2070S is 20% quicker in destiny 2 at 1440p.

This contradicts many reviews from more trusted sources.

I am willing to buy a 2070S FE to independently verify this but i tried to buy one earlier and surprise - it’s out of stock.

Looks like the 5700XT is indeed trading blows with the 2070S at $100 cheaper.

This is with a blower where the clock speeds are limited by the temperature profile. The AIB coolers will let it stretch it's wings.

Only matters if people actually buy it though. And judging by the 5700XT owners thread, it's not selling that well, or at least it's not selling well to forum users.

The powercolour one at ~£399's probably the best buy right now in a poor market.

With the cooler resolved, there's my complaints of the 5700XT gone.

AIB models looks to be selling out everywhere. Not surprising considering the 5700XT smashes the 2060s and is not far behind the 2070s but is way cheaper.

All depends on what stock levels are/were.
The 5700XT smashing the 2060S and being not far behind are also true of the reference 5700XT.

Some AIB 5700XT's make some of the 2070S more than reasonable price wise.
People buying £499 5700XT's while slagging off Nvidia prices are hypocrites. Not surprised to see there's plenty here.
