Hi Besty,

How are you finding the 2070 Super FE? Are they good cards? Well made etc?

Its a great piece of kit, on par with the 1080 classified I had in terms of fit and finish. If you can fit a 5700XT Devil or a ASUS TUF 5700XT in your case, I would go for that over a 2070FE on the basis that both these cards really need 3 fans for any type of overclock. At stock 2 fan is fine.

That said if you really want an Nvidia card and are happy to run stock you can't go wrong with a 2070FE.

Thanks. It's for a friend and he is set on a 2070 Super. He was going to get a custom 2070 Super, but, he doesn't think they offer him enough for the price difference. He won't run at stock, but, it will only be a light over clock. It's for 1440p gaming.

Made some tweaks to my rig. All results are now with a 9900k 16GB RAM at either 5.0ghz or 5.3ghz.

Ghost Recon Wildlands. All cards are using the new game-ready driver.

1080p Ultimate settings, FidelityFX OFF, Vsync OFF
9900k @ 5.3GHZ RAM C19 4500

1080ti HOF - 125% PL all clocks stock at 1975 boost - 22c water

Note: I think there is a driver problem with the ti will re-test after a new driver gets released.

2070 SUPER FE - 120% PL 2025/7600 (my max core clock) - Air

5700 XT - 50% PL 2020/825 - 22c water

results:
1080ti HOF (stock clocks - water) - 52fps 19.9ms frametime
2070super fe (OCed - air) - 73fps 13.6ms frametime
5700xt (OCed - water) - 72fps 13.7ms frametime.

early conclusion: I expect all three cards will be fairly similar in performance in 1080p Ultimate once we get a couple of driver revisions.
