so I picked up a CiT raider of FB as it looks in good nick and was only £15 on FB, anyways I got them to keep the included fans and rgb Hub, however I’ve not owned a hub before and while it has sata power and rgb lead, does the board need to actually have the header or would using the sata power and the remote control the fans?
I was thinking of putting my Aorus M in as it looks a nicer case then the CiT venom it’s currently in, but it has no 5.25 slot for my adapter, so I’m going to keep it and build in it still, I just need to know if an ordinary motherboard will be able to support the fans if I don’t use it or any software to control them? I’m guessing the hub is usable with any case if I felt like using it with my aorus!.
