My wife is certain death to a PC

Not sure where to put this but here goes.

While doing the car the wife took the opportunity to get on my PC - specs are in my signature at bottom of page - anyway W7 - she went on youtube looking at plants and when video had finished she couldn't exit anything - not with red X at top right or back button. I hit restart button on the tower and closed it all down - restarted and it was fine so my thought is she pressed a button while on youtube.

Along with what was on the screen was two lines - one horizontal and other vert - you could move them around with the mouse but that's all I could do. It was like a location marker. I have never seen it before and have to admit I was so peed off with her I went in panic mode - should have got screen grab if it would have worked.

So could anyone enlighten what she had got herself into.

1. Put a password on your PC
2. Get your wife her own PC/laptop/tablet. If she breaks it, you can take your time fixing it.

i load up a VM whenever the Mrs needs to use the PC, years have taught me that strange and inexplicable things happen whenever the two of them are together.

Uninstalled driver for AMD graphics card - reinstalled and it's a good un. Back to normal and no idea what was wrong.

Agreed, seriously, everytime she goes on the pc, when i come back to it, something has gone wrong:

"but i didn't touch anything!"

My wife is the same. We got her a HP stream so that all the crud she downloads can mess that up rather than my pride and joy.
