Upgrade Advice

Hi,

So back in Dec 2015 I purchased and built the following, which I'm still using right now, I have a little cash spare so was curious if an upgrade is worth it or has this still got another couple of years left?

Games played: Apex, Fortnite, Minecraft (son insists on wanting to use shaders/high res texture which I don't think the computer likes to much ) BF5, WoW.

How much are we talking? £50? £500?

It is nice all round build. Your first aim is to replace the GPU wihh something a little more modern and more powerful. New gpus will tackle the shaders easier and more Vram will help in the increased texture resolution. I would suggest a good upgrade for a gtx 970 would be a gtx 1660ti.

Anything higher than a 1660ti then to your 4 core cpu will hold back the gpu. But 4 cores should be ok for just apex and Minecraft
