The 1660Ti is far slower than a 5700XT. a 2060 Super is slower than a 5700XT in 90% of cases. Overall a 5700XT is a little behind the 2070 Super.
It depends on the cost. I rather stick to Nvidia since I have Geforce and drivers and also G-sync you name it. RX5700 is the same price as the RTX 2060 rather than the 1660TI Like I said 1660s is cheaper than the others. Regards OC, most of the time I stick with 3.8. Just with doing 1660TI or get more extra POWERRRR

with 2060.

Shadowplay is for sure a feature that Nvidia does much better than AMD. Since I'm on 1440p for at least the 2060, a 2060 Super/2070/2070 Super. The 2000 series cards also bring the benefit of a much better NVENC encoder, so if ever stream you can take the load off your CPU and let the GPU do it. But end of the day the cost and the bottlenecking (i7 3930k)

Seems you have made up your mind to stick with Nvidia so either a 2060 Super or a 2070 Super though that's probably way out of your budget. A 5700XT is better performance for the money though.
