9400F vs 9600KF?

Ive seen some benches and theres literally only a few FPS in it, is it worth paying the extra for 9600KF at all? The extra mhz doesn’t seem to make that much of a difference in gamimg.

Im talking purely from a gaming perspective.

A certain competitor is selling the 9400F relatively cheap under £140 so may pick one up as a cheap upgrade for now.

Not interested in AMD at the moment as i’ll need to change my waterblock as well but dont have the funds to do so.

That's the wrong comparison surely? That one compares the 8600k to the 9600k not the 8400 to the 9600k which shows a often considerable performance difference that will only get even bigger when the 9600KF is clocked to 5Ghz. This is the correct comparison.
