Seems to be a lot of emphasis on the CEO banging a work colleague and very little on the 12m salary!

How on earth is that justified when the hundreds of thousands of employees who do the hard graft are on minimum wage, specially when its been proven that paying the staff more actually leads to a more productive work force and better profits.

After all there are 6 billion people out there why limit yourself to the few hundred at best you know at work?
Who the hell has the time or money to sift through 6 billion people looking for an individual with all the same qualities as the one already in front of you? Or should they just lower their standards and pick off the shelf the first one they see?
I know a guy who has been dating three women, none of whom are an especially great fit, but he's settling for them instead of taking even more time out of life, going out and looking for anything really special...

I imagine those that did find love at work tend to be inept at dating or socialising.
Again, you assume they have the time and money to go socialising long enough to put in the same kind of time with people for that bond to develop... Some people are just picky. Some people work shifts. Some people don't have any social hobbies anyway... and more so since we now tend to buy all our computers and games online. Some people need a partner who understands their work better than anyone outside the industry will - A lot of my Police friends would agree with that one.

It's also related a bit with Stockholm syndrome where if you spend enough time with a bunch of people you end up making strong bonds with some of them.
I've spent 24/7 with a bunch of people. Didn't shag any of them, though...

Stick 50 random people in a house together and see what happens like big brother, etc.
I think you'll find more of them kill each other than shag each other. Big Brother is very carefully staged with a mixture of personalities designed to conflict and interact in very specific, entertaining ways. This is why you won't generally find anyone on the extreme peripherals of social interaction. Most of the people on here wouldn't get past the initial interview, unless they put on a fake Essex accent, perhaps.

In whatever situation you put groups of men and women in over a long period of time relationships will develop.
You clearly have prettier colleagues than we do...

You can't help who you fall for.
But you can help how you go about it.
He knew the rules - Fire her, then shag her.

Surprise surprise that the head of a very successful company earns a lot of money.

This is nothing new.

He doubled their share price the short time he was in charge. He's made them billions. Whereas the staff in the shop made French fries.

It's the same in every organisation. Support teams and admin workers get paid nothing and the senior management or directors at the top get paid 20 times as much.

Indeed, which is why society as a whole is falling apart. The top 1% have had their earnings increase by trillions in the past 20 or so years, where as the bottom 50% have seen an earnings loss in the same time period. If the success of a business meant those at the bottom were equally rewarded as those at the top, a lot of social issues would likely be gone, but we all know that will never happen. Capitalism is great right!...

They fired him because of the rule "don't **** where you eat". Enough problems have happened because that rule was broken that they had to put it into employment contracts.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with corporations dictating how people live their lives through threat of sacking, corporate rules and regulations and terms and conditions are far more respected than our pathetic politicians, laws and police force anyway. I just wish they would hurry up and put ED-209's on every street corner so there's no question who our real overlords are.

The BBC is pushing it's Feminism agenda, it might not be immediately obvious but from a radical Feminist POV it could be construed as a man in power abusing that power, even though it's a consensual relationship. The BBC feels duty bound to report it and make it a big deal, even though it's quite obviously not.

Are you saying that if a woman was to get fired for the same thing it wouldn’t be news?
