Good price, but not sure I can justify it as an upgrade as I never spend that much on a CPU. More than double the price of 2700 which has the same number of cores/threads, albeit better IPC/clockspeed.
Record spend was £190 on a P3-650E guarenteed to 866mhz from here Then again, inflation calculator says that's worth about £315 in today's money, and I'm no longer a student...
