Help !

Managed to punch a hole in my Ek Phoenix 360 Rad. I still have the Phoenix Cpu and Gpu block that connect via ek qdc quick connects. ( 2700x and Vega 64)
Have tried glue and putty but still leaking.

Rad / pump combo

Cpu block

Similar gpu block
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-w...80-ti-gpu-module-acetal-nickel-wc-9l1-ek.html

The rads are no longer sold and I'd rather replace with a standalone pump/res and 360mm rad and connect to the phoenix cpu and gpu.

The Phoenix is 16/10 tubing and I'll take the qdcs off the damaged rad side and use on the new tubing.

So could anyone recommend a suitable rad / pump res combo and tubing / fittings. I'll go for clear soft tubing for ease and eventually I'll replace the dark ek tubing on the gpu / cpu blocks, but for now I'll connect the new stuff into the old via the ek qdc connects..

Very lacking in water cooling knowledge and need to replace quickly. Any help appreciated.

Use quik steel and poke it around with a tooth pick. If your using superglue you want a blob over the hole and some bicarbonate to give it strength

Cheers, i did use some Rapid Metal , but i didn't poke it through enough and thats where I went wrong, I bet the toothpick method would have sealed it.

I've tried a few times since and covered a massive patch around it, but still weeping a tiny amount.

I've since ordered the bits to change to an open loop. In the end an Alphacool Nexxxos ST45 360 Rad, EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 pump etc, mayhems tubing and coolant. Didn't order enough fittings for a drain point, so waiting a few more bits to arrive tomorrow and will swap out.

Mostly sorted.. still no drain point as managed to order the wrong parts !.

Pump not quite mounted right as thought there'd be a bracket of some sort to mount from underneath.

Tubing a bit too long in places and need to tidy up cables in the morning. Will sort out tubing when flow meter and drain parts arrive.
