gigabit network card

my server has just given up so its time to put a new one together

i have an unused B450 msi gaming pro carbon ac motherboard and a ryzen 2600, all good i thought.

server 2012, 2011, nor 2016 will pick up yhe onboard lan or wifi.

can anyone reccommend a compatable add in card that will just work.

yes i have the latest drivers, it tells me no card installed

No probs. It's a very good card but I don't think it works well with Windows 10. Been having problems with mine for ages and just turned the onboard Ethernet back on in the BIOS and the problems have gone away.

Have you checked the BIOS? It might be turned off there?

yes, it all works fine with windows 10

it has Intel LAN/WAN, get the drivers from Intel and install them.
