I'm starting to get round to actually doing more photography work, and have started to build up a list of "todo's"! One of those is to investigate insurance costs for my gear.

Looking for general recommendations, would need to include international travel (no more than 30 days at present), public liability professional indemnity.

I use photogaurd
It's about 140 if I recall for the year with travel to Europe and worldwide added on for 30 days of travel
Covers about 3k in gear.
Worth the peace of mind.

Never had to test the policy but i hope to god if I ever do they are better than esure for home insurance!

I used to use Photoguard but they had a big jump in price a few years ago so I changed to Eversure, not had to claim so not sure how that would go but I hear they are pretty good.

Look around for some discount codes or if you go to the photography show in March all the insurance companies will be there and offer good discounts.
