Hi all

Set my new pc up yesterday and managed to change the RPM curve for my 3600x to make it quieter below 65c

However I am unable to change my sys_fan1 which is mounted at the back. Its costantly on 100% and supee loud. Its a 3pin connector so cant work out what im doing wrong.

Maybe I need to change it to voltage not pwm somewhere but I cant find it?

Tried using gigabyte siv too which works for my cpu fan but not any case fans.

Sys fan headers are sometimes not adjustable (moreso in older boards but still).

It's worth checking the motherboard manual. Is it a Gigabyte B450 Auros Pro?

Oh interesting! Ill take a look. I only have

Cpu fan
Cpu fan opt
Sys fan 1
Sys fan 2

The rest are rgb headers dotted around. Wonder what I can do

Yep thats the one

Motherboard manual says they're all 4-pin headers with PWM and voltage control available.

Yes you will need to set it to voltage control I assume, as it's a 3-pin fan. I misunderstood it as a 3-pin fan header on the motherboard :)
