Good evening all,

Just wanted to pick your brains.

Unfortunately my doorbell was nabbed last night. I am waiting for the free replacement from ring to arrive. I was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and if they did anything differently with the 2nd one to make it more theft proof.

I am thinking to use MUCH longer screws for the main bracket to make it more secure. Anything else out there? To make the doorbell that much more theft proof?.

Arent they pointless to steal as cant be used if reported?


If its free to replace if stolen i wouldn't do anything different, why potentially cause
More damage to your door frame.

Anti theft device
For them
On the rainforest site
Not very pretty but puts
A metal bar across it and a padlock
Deters thieves not eqipped
With tools
But if they really want it guess
They will get it anyway

If your discussing something OCUK sell then the rules are not to mention competitors, however as ocuk Dont sell ring security mounts mentioning Amazon is perfectly fine. same goes for toasters,kettles,tvs toothbrushes.

Can have issues occasionally on
