Far Cry New Dawn mission help

Hello

Im playing Far Cry New Dawn and im on a mission called the Prophecy, heres it on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu8P0PkF-HY

Im trying to use the cross by pressing and holding the up button on my XBOX360 controller but wont work.

Is there a button on keyboard or mouse to equip the cross?

I had to look it up on YouTube as I I didn't really get it.

It is not always that obvious were to stand. I might be wrong but the bit were you pull the pulley I think you have to stand much further back, maybe behind a counter were another bit lines up.

I can't totally recall but I am pretty sure. It was just the left mouse button to hold the piece out

Yeah that mission absolutely sucked, the position of the cross had to be virtually perfect it was like zero margin for error. Pointless accuracy is pointless.

It's almost like an Ubisoft trademark to put these drugged out/dream missions into games these days and they almost always suck.

I literally had zero problems with that part of the game, so i'm rather confused what the issue is lol.
I just grabbed it using E or (whatever the interact key is set to). Then line it up.

Bit that threw me first time round was that you need to shoot some rubbish or burn stuff to get it out of the way before the lining up thing will work.
