That's incorrect, you give the shells I light rinse and brush with your toothbrush ready for their next user

it's called a milk bottle and water.

you fill milk bottle with water and pour it over your backside whilst wiping with your hand.

you then wash your hands in the sink after.

millions of people on the planet do this with no issue. some people even have a bidet which is the same thing but automated.

In any case, when was Bog paper invented anyway. Even in the Victorian age, I would have thought it would be a premium product that only the wealthy could afford.

Poorer people up until really quite recently would have made do with cut up newspaper.

I just assumed you use them to scoop the poop out :D

But then, how to you sanitize them for the next person?...

Anyway, Morrisons had loads and cheap too.
