Evening

I have a old Mountfield 180 to cut lawns with but over the autumn I've got a bad shoulder. So i'm looking at self propelled mower but my concern is can you pull it back .

I read some saying you can't others saying you can i assume you just need to release the handle that drives it forward so you can pull it back ?

I have several lawns that there would be no way i could turn around and go forward so i have to pull it back .

Also are they a lot easier to use than a pushed petrol machine ?

Thank you

If your issue is a bad shoulder/back. Look into getting an electric start petrol mower.

They really do make life a lot easier if you have a bad back.

Thank you for the replies as i thought you can pull it back then thought it was weird you wouldn't be able too.

Looking at something like the Mountfield SP485HW-V Hi-Wheel Variable-Speed or the Mountfield hw531-pd 53cm has a wash link too which is good .

No has to be petrol for me as i cut other peoples lawns too can do 15/20+ some days 30 a week or so so petrol is a must for me .

Thanks

Fair play, but lots of batteries would solve this!

I have a petrol self driven with a honda motor and wouldn't go battery now, but it's an option...!
