Hi. just to pass some time on I'm trying to have my TV which is a 49XF7596 and my dell monitor which is a S2716DG Gsync 1440p monitor to have 2 screens. I went into display settings on windows and put it into duplicate. This worked.
I went into nvidia control panel and noticed there is Set up Gsync tab on the left. In 3D settings tab the is monitor technology is set to G-sync. Where it should say Preferred refresh rate (S2716DG) it says preferred refresh rate (SONY TV *00)
The resolution is set to 3840x2160 (native) even though my dell is 1440p 144hz its set to 60hz and looks like its using my sony tv as defualt.
Is this normal.?. Hope it makes sense.
What I'm trying to do is I play X-plane 11 and want GPS etc on the separate screen but just messing around see what I can do.
EDIT: Another thing to add is TV is HDMI plugged into graphic card and monitor is Display port
