Watching the Louis Theroux doc after this has put everything into perspective. As it was set before all the craziness. It seemed deep down Joe is a likeable chap and his intentions in the beginning were good. You don't have 150+ tigers if it's all about the money as they are worth nothing in reality.

Seems he was week minded and was taken advantage of which led him down the path of the Netflix series. I think he was quite contempt till Baskins started going after him and it all went downhill from then.

Even the trial seemed dodgy as anything. He was entrapped for starters.

Baskins got away with Murder in my eyes. Especially all the fiddling with the will/insurance stating "disappearance". No one ever puts that in a will.

Completely agree. The trial was dodgy, all his so called acquaintances were also very dodgy.

Really enjoyed this.

It's a great snapshot of the average American, people wonder why trump got into power but the evidence is right there...
