Went back a few BIOS versions, got back all the options they'd stripped away with the latest versions, and had a tinker with PBO. I set it with a fixed vcore.
Rock solid stable at 1.30v, this run is at 1.32v as it gets a few points higher usually, despite boost speeds reading the same (4216 all core).
Temps 63.4c, and it's just banged in one point behind my all-core 4.25GHz OC score (at 1.39v and ~75c).
That's a bit of a game changer for me. Something new to tinker with! :D

Switched back to Ryzen after having fun with the 7980XE.

7980XE still edges it (at 4.4 all core) but pretty damn close if you ask me (plus single is much higher):

3950X @ PBO (4.15Ghz all core)

Managed to squeeze a few more points out of my build. Voltage & temps a bit high and for sure nothing I'd feel comfortable with more than for "testing", but anyway....

That can't be right.
The speed is 4.01 being reported and the value is approx. 20% lower than your chip should be managing at 5.0
Something very strange going on there.
Have you posted the wrong screenshot?
My 3600 can virtually beat that in single core, you should be miles ahead.
no and i dont know why its so low, could it be ram speed im using 2400mhz
