Thought I'd put my opinions on here after I bought one to install a build for my nephews Xmas prezzy, other people on here were recommending it & I thought it would be a cool case to buy for a 12 year old.

Likes:

Cheap decent case (better than the no name stuff from high street retailers/auction site/competitors for the same price)
Space for 5 120mm fans (space for 2 on the top!)
Front & bottom fan filters
Black instead of grey inside
Tool free installation for hard drives & Optical drives
Side window
PSU on the bottom instead of the top. (helps cooling?)
Thumbscrews for side panels.

Dislikes: (niggles really)

A bit tinny build quality for me but I would expect that from a PC case that cost less than 40 notes. I managed to strip 2 of the motherboard standoff threads due to this. It's better than the Thermaltake Tsunami dream case I owned a few years ago & that cost 2x as much though.
Only 1 120mm fan included. (again to be expected)
Cable management could be better (& it is in Coolermaster's Centurion 5 II case, which I built a PC in about a month ago)
No insulation for hard drive noise.
When you install a large 3rd party cooler into the case with the Fan blowing towards the back you can't install the 2 roof fans. Can't install a side fan if you put a large 3rd party Graphics card cooler on your graphics card.
Barely enough room to install a large 3rd party CPU cooler in the case. (in this instance a Gelid Tranquillo)
ATX motherboard install a bit of a tight fit.

& here is the finished item.

What's inside (my old gaming rig basically)

E8400 @ 3.6
GAP35DS4 Mobo
gigabyte HD4850 with Artic cooling Accelero cooler & Sharkoon 1000 120mm fan.
2nd hand VX450 off the auction site
My old Pioneer optical drive
Samsung F3 500G
Gelid tranquillo (I wasnt going to give him my Meghalem or my HX650 either!)
Couple of 3rd party blue LED fans.
W7 HP & office 2010 (to do his homework on)

& that's my 'p's worth! :D

Holy thread bump.
Almost 10 years later, that case lasted about 3 years. The cheap & nasty on switch broke, so I rewired it so he could use the reset switch. That broke too along with a USB port so I had to replace it with a used Antec 300. Much better case.

I wouldn't buy a cheap Coolermaster case again, the important bits (Case switches) just didn't last that long. Its things like that people don't consider when buying a PC Case.
