What do you think would give me the most gain going from a r3 2200g to an r4 2400g?
P.s yes I am using the pay as I have no gpu at this present time
Or going from 12gb ddr4 2333mhz to 16gb 3200mhz I know ryzen need fast ram what do you guys think I swap first then?

I would swap the ram first then save up for the 4400G which should be coming out soon although if gaming is your main objective then a dedicated Gpu would provide the most benefit.

Most gain in doing what exactly? Neither sound like good upgrades imo.

I'd go for the new 4000 Ryzen APUs when released later this year, presuming your mobo can support them.

Gaming I don't care about resolution just a payable 45 to 60 fps in apex legends plays every other game I want like destiny 2 and thanks spare pretty much answered it f0r me I'll go ram and wait to see if theirs a r5 4000 series apu and yes my pc is to small to fit a graphics card inside of comfortable right now as its a xbox original crystal hence why I'm going the pay direction

Having 12gb ram seems odd you are los8ng a lot of performance because your not in dual channel mode get another 8gb stick of the same speed and ditch the 4gb.

Or you could go 2x 4gb if you want.

2133 to 3200/3600 would give you a huge boost with an APU (relatively speaking), then can upgrade CPU to a 4650 or whatever when it's time.

^^This

Assuming you're using 3 x 4gb sticks, it's been demonstrated that removing 1 stick and using 8gb in dual channel is better than using 12gb in single channel....

Wouldn't that be slower?

3200 @ CL14 is 8.75 nanoseconds.

3600 @ CL16 is 8.88 nanoseconds.

Hows that for splitting hairs!! :D

LOL. Dont forget that the chipset runs at the same speed as the ram (plus more memory bandwidth for the igpu) so it will all run faster and I really doubt you wil notice the .13 nanoseconds lost :p
