Adding more ram to a system

I am currently running a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra mobo with Gigabyte Aorus RGB 2x8BG DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz.

I would like to take it up to 32gbs but wondering whether I will have any issues as I won't have matched pairs.

Although I originally bought from Overclockers I don't think I can get the same ram from them any more. Should I take a stab at something on Amazon or equivalent? Or perhaps, should I sell what I have and get a new 4x8 or 2x16 dimms? something else?

Any advice welcome, thanks.

I wouldn't mix rgb ram purley for astetic reasons but mixing ram usually works but no gaurantees. 4 sticks can have a slight adverse affect sometines but again should work, personally iwould get 2 x 16gb and sell your original if you can't find matching ram.

Thanks for the reply.

I dont want the RGB stuff, I tend to turn off when I can. I have just been looking on the manufacturer webpage (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z390-AORUS-ULTRA-rev-10/sp#sp) to see what ram the board will support and it states the following;

Support for DDR4 4400(O.C.) / 4333(O.C.) / 4266(O.C.) / 4133(O.C.) / 4000(O.C.) / 3866(O.C.) / 3800(O.C.) / 3733(O.C.) / 3666(O.C.) / 3600(O.C.) / 3466(O.C.) / 3400(O.C.) / 3333(O.C.) / 3300(O.C.) / 3200(O.C.) / 3000(O.C.) / 2800(O.C.) / 2666 / 2400 / 2133 MHz memory modules

What is the best bang for buck? If I was looking at 2x16gb?

Also to note, I am not sure if it makes any difference, but I dual boot with win10 and Linux.

I'm thinking of adding another 32gb (3600mhz) to my system, does anyone know if filling all 4 ram slots has any issues on amd570 motherboards such as forcing you to run slower etc?
