When your credit card bill arrives and you realise you may have spent a bit too much?

Rarely do I think it's too much, but often it seems more than I was expecting in total.

Then this happens the wife yelling & screaming at you calling you an idiot,

My wife is awesome, when I was describing my latest upgrade plans her main concern seemed to be ensuring that she'd get the old parts from my PC put into her PC.

I do that all the time, yet she can spend her money on clothes, shoes, make-up and hairdressers but they are necessary.

I don't have a credit card either.
I save up and then buy stuff, so I can always afford it. Couple more decades of this and I might even be able to buy a 30xx card!

No because I only buy things on my credit card, that I could afford to buy anyway (my balance is cleared in full every month).

I use a credit card purely for additional protection (particularly with larger purchases)

Likewise... and also gives me a good excuse to tell her how fast we are racking up with Avios points :)
