I am considering getting one of these Tenda MW6 or TP-Link Deco M5 Mesh systems to replace the current setup I have which is just a couple of old DSL routers with the Wifi active, but as they don't allow roaming and they don't really let go of the connection when it gets poor I am looking to upgrade to a mesh system so my phones, tablets and laptops will move to the stronger connection when moving from downstairs to upstairs.
I would be looking at a two pack and am hoping someone who uses one of these sets can confirm that I can have both connected via ethernet and still have the roaming capabilities and I don't have to rely on the second one connecting to the primary via WiFi only.
