Dear folk
Using a laptop to access Nokia AirScale baseband we normally assign 192.168.255.130/24 and no issue for accessing web interface of the device
When I assigned my laptop ip address 192.168.22.10/24 access won’t be granted.
In general how a hardware can control that ?
Thx

How are you in a position of deploying 5G radio hardware without understanding that you need a router to move traffic between subnets?

So AirScale = 192.168.255.130/24 and laptop = 192.168.255.10/24?

What do you mean by "access won't be granted"? Can you ping the AirScale Do you get a login prompt from the AirScale?

As for how a device could do this - easily. Access Control Lists. The AirScale could be set to only allow access to the management interface from a specific IP address or specific IP addresses.

I can't ping it and obviously I won't be able to access the web interface

I guess that would be the cause

Thx for your help

That image shows the IP address of the AirScale is 192.168.255.129, not 192.168.255.130. Are you definitely using the right IP address?
Yes you are right and the laptop ip was 192.168.255.130 and I will take a snapshoot for laptop ip address as well
