Greenland (2020 film)

Looks like a deep impact rehash but worse. I thought Gerard Buttler would have learnt his lesson from that awful geostorm film he did not to go anywhere near that genre again.

It's not supposed to be Citizen Kane or Trois couleurs, you switch your brain off and enjoy the cheesy chaos whilst laughing at the 'science'.

Exactly, there's a reason Armageddon, Avatar etc. did well at the box office.

I actually quite liked Geostorm as a film because it's easy watching so will look forward to watching this as well.

Like I’ve always said with these films, the build up to the disaster and the actual event is the best bit. The aftermath part always feels a bit meh.

I couldn't agree more, robfosters. Same with zombie movies. The fall is great, the aftermath is usually fairly dull.

Looks like a sequel no-one asked for, from a film that barely made any money 1st time round!

film1 : manic trip and boring family melodrama to avoid a global disaster from USA to Greenland.
film2 : this place aint safe no more, lets go to France, with some melodrama along the way.
