Heavier weight jeans

I alternate bud, I own more than one pair of pants/jeans/clothes for whatever situation.

I wash them after 2-3 uses if using regularly, because if you don't you become a bit of a smelly bugger. More-so if you work a very physical job which you've implied earlier in this thread.

Do you smoke? If jeans smell after 3 days then something isn't right

Avoid M&S jeans btw, the seams on them might as well be sewed with paper, they barely last 5 months
Dunno, I actually have 4 pairs of M&S jeans that have lasted 2 or so years so far and they're still going strong, which I'm quite surprised about. I alternate between the pairs, so I do wear them regularly. Usually wash the pair that I've worn after a couple weeks, as my job isn't very physically demanding, so it doesn't really get smelly or dirty. The most activity in the jeans for me is just casual day to day stuff, going out for walks, etc. Going to the gym is obviously done in gym attire, not jeans.

Now that I've said that though... they'll probably fall apart soon

Still waiting for those pics...

I had some 40 quid ones from there in the last year and both pairs split at the groin within 6-12months
I coulda probably have taken them back but I don't like doing that kinda thing.

obvious poor stitching none of my other jeans do it.
if you have old jeans that still fit but are faded you can dye them in the washing machine with a dylon dye pod btw

IDK where you can buy them on the highstreet probably B&M maybe? john lewis haberdashery section sells them in my local store.

It's not doing your jeans any good washing them that often

Jeans aren't what they used to be unfortunately, you've established this yourself. If they last a year or two I'm grand and will replace them with something else.

I stopped buying the more expensive/brand stuff years ago (Wrangler, Levi's etc) when I realised they weren't any more hard wearing than a £20 pair from ASDA or similar.

When I was a kid in the 80's and early 90's people were buying denim jackets and jeans while going out of their way to make them look aged, you could buy a jacket/pair of pants that would last 5-10 years of light use. It's not that I'm not looking after things, I just don't care anymore and value cleanliness more than how long a pair of plap jeans will last.

I don’t reckon it’s the jeans. Heed this advice

1) Use a saddle

For the knee wear problem:

2) Stop pleasuring men
3) Wear knee pads

Good luck!

It's not just that though, it's to do with the style and the fit too. Supermarket jeans tend to fit me wrong, whereas my branded jeans (Levi's, GAP, Superdry, Jack&Jones, Boss and Threadbare) all have fits that just feel right. On me anyway.

Honestly it's a nightmare for me to find well fitting jeans/pants, I'm a 34" waist but almost anything I try is extremely tight around my calfs to the point I gave up and just go the easy route, and that includes the Levi/Wranglers etc I mentioned earlier.

I just deal with the best/worst at the cheapest I can and more of than than not I can do so for £20-30, it'd be much easier if changing rooms in stores were still more of a thing but when I do find something that fits I just buy 5 of the bloody things and move on.

Nope.

I'd feel filthy if I wore the same pair of jeans for 3 - 5 days in a row (or any clothing for that matter), maybe I'm a clean freak.

Jeans are fine for that amount of time,

It depends what your doing in them, or sitting on.

yeah maybe some people have excessive sweating, or eating greasy fast food etc

I find cleaning jeans to often ruins them

Although i wouldnt leave it 2-3 weeks before washing, i usually wash mine every 5-6 days maybe,

I certainly wouldn’t wash them every 2 days . unless i was rolling around in mud. Cleaning too often ruins the fabric and wears them out quicker.

I have switched to next black stretchy jeans now. Kind of black and its not the typical old type of denim type jeans

I find the stretchy jeans so much more comfortable, the material is not so harsh, and its stretchy

Did i say they were stretchy ?
