Football Manager 26

I haven’t touched the game since launch . Have they put back the player data in during the match day ? Passes competed etc.

I don’t know how anyone can play this game without the data to back everything up. The whole point of having the data is so that you can make informed decisions on tactics and player instructions and see the difference play out on the field as a result of those instructions.

Nope, still can't tell how many shots anyone's taken either.

Lack of data, especially during matches, is one of the most annoying bits. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, half the graphs have the axis or data points reversed and tell you the opposite of what actually happens anyway.

Yea it’s horrible. I regret pre ordering, luckily I only paid £25 and not the full RRP.

It isn't great but playable at £25. I'm sure fixes are on the way when they feel up to it

Honestly, it's not as bad as people are making out.

Lots of stuff missing bit it's more than playable. I'm still having fun with it.

It’s certainly getting better, but the UI is still a mess. Still no idea what the back button is going to do when I click it.

Yep , i've adjusted to it now too. It is ok but i feel really disconnected from my team/the game. It is literally like a Football Manager Lite, nowhere as much data , stats etc to get absorbed in , so little control over the U18s etc.

I accept it for what it is now but it is a gigantic backward step and dumbed down for the "console kiddies" so to speak. To me FM wasvthe game where staring at a glorified spreadsheet was the enjoyable part!

Short answer: no.

In all seriousness, there have been a lot of patches. But I think consensus is still that it's a good way off where it should be.

And they're saying that they're hoping to re-add pass maps in a few weeks if things all work out. To me that says it all.

If you’re happy to wizz through seasons without having too much input, then it’s probably fine.

But if you like to micromanage every single aspect of the game, then it’s still a pale imitation of previous years.

It's better than what it was on release. I have played FM24 yeah FM26 is not as in-depth right now but wouldn't say it was a bad experience its still football manager. Hopefully they add more content to the game in the next few months. I paid like £25 for it and got my monies worth played just over 70 hours according to steam.
