What TV shows are you currently watching

Just finished

The Beast in Me on Netflix which I really enjoyed, Mathew Rhys was outstanding.

Also finished Lawmen: Bass Reeves. It was ok, very watchable but nothing special.

And still making my way through Parks & Recreation, Ron Swanson is my hero.

Agreed - My only criticism is this season felt a bit weaker than the others, definately carried by Gary Oldman

I've just finished watching Blue Lights S03 on iPlayer, Northern Irish police drama, very enjoyable with some great acting IMO

I found S5 story weak, but we got more of Lamb, which was awesome.

It still grinds my gears how incompetent the Slough House agents are - IRL they'd be out of a job or behind bars for some of the stuff they get up to. But poetic licence and all that.

Exactly, without Lamb, no one would be talking about this show haha

.... But we do have Lamb and the more we have, the better it is :D

Ratched: 8 episodes in, though I don't know if there will be any more or even another series.

Good to see Sharon Stone in something, as I've not watched her in much over the last few years.
 
If you enjoy the Slow Horses tv series but want more funny lines, as well as depth to the storyline and characters then I can recommend the books. Enjoying Joe Country at the moment and that hasn’t been released at the time of writing,
 
just finished Teacup.
and damn if I am not fed up with companies making TV shows, ending on a cliff hanger before canning them.
it's like reading half a book and finding out the author could not be bothered finishing it.

it was decent however for as long as it lasted.
 
Done the institute, id give it 6/10. Really you could pass it overall. I think the budget was perhaps smaller so they got away with renewing season 2. Otherwise hope it ends well since I don't think such a story can do well afterwards.
 
Started watching the German speaking Netflix show "The Signal", but I'm getting deja vu, I'm sure there is another show or film with very similar plot sections, but I can't for the life of me put my finger on it.

For anyone who's seen it, it's the
russian listening post recording signals from the space station
that seems familiar.
