Could we get a poll? I'm surprised if summer doesn't win hands down because how can all that long bright hot days offer not be the best? Forgetting the moments of heat, bike rides, walks, bbq, water activities, all made better by sunshine

I'd be happy with a really decent summer (hot and dry) and a really cold winter (50/50 year with snow and ice)

The winters down south UK are really poor.

Best Would be Spring/ Autumn

Winter if proper snow which we don't get anymore

Summer is probably the most annoying especially the heatwaves and humidity

Spring and autumn, its not overly hot, not overly cold, its just right

Summer - not too sure as

1) Its hot
2) you don really see your main friends much in the summer as they are doing their own thing with their family - same in winter, they are hibernating with their family

Dont get me wrong i do enjoy summer, i just dont enjoy 33oC heat

Summer!
Then spring
Then early autumn.
Then late winter.

November/December is my worst time of year by far.
Dark,
Wet,
Often not cold enough for snow

And coming off the end of nice weather too!

Yes.
After Halloween (my favourite named day of the year) we have fireworks. Which my dog hates. And around here they are horrendous (a big reason for moving).
The autumn leaves are going.
Its dank, dreary, windy and bleak.
This usually this carries on until December. And Xmas. (which I also dislike).

But after that the nights get noticeably lighter. January is usually colder and crisper. And feel like hope has returned and spring is on the way!

Summer because of the longer days, but to be honest any season that’s not too wet and not too windy gets my vote.

Winter snows too.

Having lived in a country that has proper winters (i.e. 3 ft of snowfall overnight and temperatures as low as -30c) - it would be winter, there's nothing quite like sitting by a fire looking out the window while an absolute monster of a blizzard is kicking off outside and drinking a beer or two....
