Legacy is great. Such a shame they decided to just drop it completely, but I guess both the actors are 15 years older, but this new...thing just seems like a complete rewrite. I'll watch it on D+ when it comes on most likely.

Yes, I ended up getting the German Dune Part One 3D release. Didn't see a Part Two one though...

Also there's sometimes a Japanese 3D release too.

Gutted my 3d telly went pop... That transition from 2D to 3D when Sam first gets pulled into the grid in Legacy is stunning.

The acting was so bad

the sound track is a major let down. Thought NiN would smash it out the park but it was bland. The early action didn’t land but picked up in the final 3rd. Couldn’t care about any of the characters which was a problem. The forced humour was awful too. How the **** did Disney drop the ball after how decent legacy was?

Disney didnt want to make it at all, its been scrapped since about 2015. Hence it didnt have the budget and most of it set in the real world etc.

3D movies work great in VR headsets. You can watch them on huge IMAX sized screens and the depth and colour are amazing.

Look what they did to my boy

they had such a good thing with Legacy and this is what they come up with, reminded me of Hackers where they had to 'visualize' hacking. What a waste of the IP.

I actually felt like the Director watched hackers one weekend and ripped the visual access to file systems / hacking into tron. Hackers is my guilty pleasure but I expect more after legacy from Disney fs.

The soundtrack was cracking as was the film (baps were a bonus too

Leto, he really pushed for this to be made. Then Disney only gavet hem so much money as the last one was so expenive to make in the Tron world, and finincally it bombed, so thats why so much of the film is in the "real world", cause its cheap to film.
