Hopefully this is as good as the last 3, even if it's different, I'm all for it, providing it's done right.

I'll be watching the playthroughs; this looks like it requires too much manual coordination and close timing for me.

That's what the last 3 were missing, I'm all for it :D

I played the originals back in the day. There was one in particular (TR3?) that I recall felt more like work than play to actually make it through to the end.

Hope it's just the video/effects on it, but at times it looks like the framerate is a little iffy. It's UE5 so I would not be shocked if it has bad performance, shader stutter or both.

I do find it an odd choice to remake again, Catalyst is suppose to be after Underworld, so I would have thought a quick remaster of Legend trilogy would have made more sense. Cheaper and brings people up to speed before Catalyst comes out.

Just seems weird, same as Nintendo only remastered Metroid Prime 1 before 4, so if you don't have access to older hardware, you just skip over 2 games.

Just finished TR 2013 , looking a bit dated in places but i enjoyed it all the same.
I might jump into Rise of the TR next and maybe Shadow of the TR then, am i thinking correct way to do it here?
Im also in the middle of Ghost of Tsushima but i pop in and out of it.
After maining BF6 since release its nice to chill with some single player games.

Haven't played any of the 'new' Tomb Raiders, but the handstand on the ledge @0:40 is a nice little nod to the Tomb Raider's I remember from back on the PS1.

Yeah, that was definitely a tipped cap moment to the OG.
I'd highly recommend 1 and 3 of the 'newest' ones. 2 Is better the second time around, but the first reboot was outstanding, and by the time you get to the 3rd (Shadow) it's so polished.

I'm just glad her voice isn't that huffing, sighing, whining little emo girl, lamenting her way through every single line of dialogue!!!

@Malevolence would like that though ;)

I am unsurprisingly getting lots of TR Anniversary vibes from although everyone else (meaning youtube commentors and the trailer) seem to have forgotten that game exists. Liking the voice actor!

I really liked TR Anniversary!
