That sounds interesting and is rated quite well on Good Reads. I see this is book 2. Was book 1 a good read too?I finished Dark Fire by C J Sansom today. It's a mystery novel set during the reign of Henry viii.
It was very good, and an easy read.

Im half way through book 14 myself. looking for suggestions and will look at the ones you listed. Also ploughing through The Dresden Files in audiobook in the car. Enjoyable!Just finished the 14 books of the Wheel of Time. Enjoyed this very much and a little sad to know it's over (apart from the Prequel)
1 week short of a full 7 months to read them. I had thought it would take me longer to read in all honesty. Guess that's a sign of how much I enjoyed it.
Got a few in my TR list now:
1. A New Spring (WoT prequel)
2. Mercy of Gods - first book from the newest Captive's War series by James S.A Corey)
3. Livesuit (novella from Captive's War series)
4. Exodus - Book 1 from Archimedes Engine series
5. Red Rising
