I've been through all the race threads for this year and worked out a score for each race. I used the same scoring system as F1 so 25 points for 10/10, down to 1 point for 1/10. I then worked out the maximum available points by multiplying the number of people who voted by 25 and then calculated the score as a percentage against the possible maximum.

Last years thread here.

No real surprise to see that we rated Silverstone the highest again, and it's no real surprise that the top three are Lando wins. Overall, OcUK rated the season worse than last year, which also isn't surprising.

We put Japan below Monaco. Who'd have thought there was a race rated below Monaco!

Only a handful of races this year were given a higher score than we gave them last year.

I think this year that qualifying was generally more interesting than the race itself. Let's hope the changes for 2026 make things a bit more exciting.

Thankfully the political intrigue and the close see-sawing title race kept the season interesting at least from a high level. On track though definitely not one to tell the kids about.

100% this - so few races were above average e.g. 5/10, with most well below. Silverstone was actually entertaining, and it scored well due to the weather and the Hulk getting his podium. :)

I though it was a decent season. It'd have been nice to see closer racing, but it was far from the pure processional seasons we've seen in the past and there was always wider interest in how the results were shaping the championship. Everyone loved Nico getting that podium and it was nice having a non-toxic battle for the WDC too. Seeing Hamilton so miserable was a major downside for me, though, I'm hoping he can have a decent time next season or I think it's time to hang up his boots.

Excited to see how Antonelli, Bearman, and Bortoleto perform in coming seasons, they really impressed. Hadjar surprised me with his quality too, I thought he was going to be a real disaster, but he's done okay. Pity he's getting thrown into the Red Bull blender next year.

Agreed, and although McLaren cars dominated most of the season and ran away with the constructors championship the predictions that one of the McLaren drivers would easily win the drivers championship proved to be less than accurate. For me another fascinating season, must be my 45th now.

I updated my spreadsheet to include 2025 voting. Here's the results from this year:

Surprisingly, Monaco WASN'T the worst rated race of the year as it was in 2024, and 2021. Japan took that crown. Also this season was voted the second-worst since I started recording in 2021, scoring an average vote of 5.13 compared to the worst season's (2023) 5.02. The highest rated season was 2024 with 6.16. 2021 probably would have beaten that, but its result was massively skewed by a hoard of 1 votes on the Abu Dhabi race... for some reason.

Also, unsurprisingly it seems that OcUK voters align very strongly with the number of overtakes per race. Here's how we voted for each race, in blue columns, and the number of overtakes per race, in the orange line chart. Not quite a 1:1 match, but certainly a strong corerelation.

Poor season overall. Limited meme moments though Mexico was pure entertainment.
Glad to see the back of this era but not overly optimistic that they will be fixing much from next season. Car size is such an issue across most tracks.

I think the fact that it got very close towards the end of the season saved it somewhat, next year is going to be interesting with an almost full reset

Think median figures are better as an average on how to rate the races.

There's always some nutters who'll put Monaco as a 10 for example.
