Best thing to stop car door seals freezing together?

75ml for £3.82 = £50.93/l
Or
500ml for £10.90 = £21.80/l

Yeah sounds a bargain. I guess you get a handy application bottle though.
If you never use that 75ml then it's much better than spending £10.90. Or if you use it and don't like it and end up discarding it.

Do you also buy your toilet rolls by the thousands because it's more cost effective per roll? Let's be realistic and let people decide what's best for them.

£10.90 for something that apparently smells of lemon too ? **** Boudoir comes to mind, maybe Paltrow does one.

DD Need to look at its active ingrediants > 15% of Autoglym is petrol distillate.

Applicators are usually pretty useless too - at least the seals on all the cars I've had have 3 sides a sponge type applicator only does one, a cloth with a dab of the liquid worked into
seal is more efficient, so end up having to prise off the applicator.

I did my vehicle doors hinges and seals with OB41 (High Performance Silicone Spray), a bit expensive for what it is, a few weeks back and no signs of any freezing the one day we've had a deep frost so far since.

I don't believe this is a common issue for people living outside of The Artic Circle. Is it not more likely to be the door or door seal itself is an issue and not fitting correctly?

No my doors often get frozen shut on icy mornings. The rubber seal gets stuck to the door. I once ripped the seal by yanking on the door too hard. :(

Fair few ICE cars can do it as well, optional extra on my car, electric or diesel power supplementary heater, common more in colder countries.

My Hybrid does if battery is over 5%. Always forget to tell it to charge on the way home though.

Never had a car posh enough to have that! I know you can get remote start for cars but it's not quite as cool as what an EV can do.

Defrosting takes like 5 mins, don't know why it's such a big deal.

Cold water + scrape on outside and if needed wipe the inside.

And/or use a windscreen cover.

I didn't understand either until that first minus 4 morning when I walked out my house threw my bag in the boot and got into a nice 21 degrees frost free car.
Now ranks as one of the best features of my car.

I'm not anti-EV but I think a nice big V6 is more enjoyable for me than a frost-free car. I suppose you could have both but for me it's either.

Indeed, it's not a benefit if you hate everything else about the car.
