is there any alternatives to LFM, as getting pretty tired of judging bias and idiots, lost podium last night got taken out by a lapped car as refused to move over, now quoting wec that he doesnt have to move, happening quite often lately, i had a A1 SA but of late seems everything goes against me even when its 100% not my fault, place becoming a joke tbf

Ams2 with lfm

God I hate Paul Ricard! Just can't hook up that last sector. Usually I main the M4 but been getting some hours in the Lexus. Feels much more stable after the 1.2 update than it was before.

There are some great events on Sim Grid. Organisers like RCI, ADRR, Toga Motorsport, QRT, Jardier Community to name a few are all some I've raced with in the past. Usually very clean racing, live stewarding, proper live streams, it's good fun.

thx, will look in to sim grid

Has anyone else experience FFB problems in LMU since the 1.2 update? I'm on a VRS DFP15 and it's completely unusable. After about 2 minutes of use it oscillates violently with a nasty grinding feeling in the base. I'm at my whits end. Tried everything I can think of but to no avail.

So, I got my LFM safety rating back up to maximum after it was cruelly set to down 1 in December 2024

Also - I now have over 1,000 hours game time logged in LMU, after just over 1 year playing it.

I'm really enjoying it and the game seems ever popular recently. I'm looking forward to the Feb update - The new Barcelona track, new HY tyre model and maybe a BoP increase for the 499P, which seems to be struggling for pace since it was nerfed around July last year.

i will go back to lmu after stint in iracing as had enough of dirty drivers, protests are a complete joke, thought lmu was full of dirty drivers, but iracing in a class of its own

Only around 50+ hours in, have been trying to learn the tracks in race weekends, just lost my online virginity in this game last week, loving it so far despite the nerves :D

The Hypercar tyre update has dropped.

I've done some laps of Monza and Spa - My thoughts so far :
  • The low speed FFB is amazing now - so much more feel and weight.
  • Steering is more sensitive and direct, so it takes a while to get used to doing less wheel rotation
  • Braking needs to be re-learnt as the rear snaps away at a different point than it did before.
  • A bit more understeer going on, especially in higher speed corners. Parabolica at Monza I found tricky using my baked in line choice and Stavelot at Spa, I haven't been able to take flat out yet, without going slightly over the gravel side of the curb. [which was easy flat before]
Currently i'm around 1 second per lap slower than previously and for sure setups will need to be tweaked.

This is how you navigate the Monza lap 1 first chicane madness - I'm the yellow Ferrari 499. I ended up finishing in 4th place. [This is Split 1 - George Boothby in P1]
