Yeah I think it depends where on your sleep cycle you actually wake up, its strange how sometimes a few minutes can have such a dramatic impact.

It was just really weird that that 2-3s I was unconscious felt like an eternity, and I came to and suddenly felt full of energy. It was the ultimate microsleep! :D

I won't recommend people start choking themselves though... however I'm happy to offer my services!
Choked by a handsome Frenchman, there are plenty that would pay good money for that service :D

I managed to get the Santa in his chimney inflatable onto the roof of the garage earlier, absolutely exhausted now :)
Still got to get the other inflatables out before the weekend which is going to be fun looking at the weather, but at least they're all ground level.

We gonna get photos of this magnificence?

Bought a bone china dinner wear set then googled what they are made from, guess I'm not entertaining any vegans lol

kinda cool to shine a light through the plates

I'm impressed, no chance of getting me on the roof!

The inflatable Santa we have is only of his bottom half torso and legs, the idea is you put it in the chimney and makes it look like he's stuck head first. Me and roofs don't get on so I improvised and stuck it under the garage door, making it look like Santa's been crushed in half. I think I've traumatised my child :D.

It's not childhood trauma, it's teaching them a sense of humour, your little one will probably see the funny side in about 5 or 10 years time.

I didn't have to actually get on the roof, it's a relatively low (about 3 meter) high one, so all I had to do was climb up against the front to drop the inflatable roughly into place, then pull the 4 guy ropes to the hooks on either side of the roof, the problem seems to be that two of them got crossed over so rather than him being pulled in 4 directions he's got a twist in the two longer ropes, and they're slightly slack.

Next year I'm going to swap the current ropes out for some tent ones with the adjustable tension fittings so I don't have to struggle with retying the ropes.

Removing two case fans and a mahoosive air cooler from the rig (PC. ;) ). My overclocking days are well over.

Just managed to get up the ladders and fix santa before it started tipping down, he ended up face planted into the garage roof, it looked like he'd had too much brandy without the mince pies:p

Uncrossed the guys, slight repositioning of him and tightened two of the lines up.

Currently waiting for the Tesco delivery now, which I always find means I can't relax and do anything useful or fun, as I need to be able to answer the door quickly.

Bloke hit me with a bone china plate once, and it bloody hurt. He went “T’pau!” when he did it, so I said, “Don’t you mean kapow?” And he replied “No, I’ve got China in My Hand”….

Shamelessly stolen from Tim Vine IIRC.
