Best place to sell used GPU now?

I've always used the Members Market (I do have difficulty trying to maintain my post count to keep access these days though), I have many years of positive feedback on there and I trust the community more than anywhere else, I might get a bit less money but that's ok, knowing it's going to a good home and it'll most likely be a trouble free transaction is more important to me than ringing the last £ out of it. I have never used CeX, tbh I hadn't realised how much it had grown. I did used to use the bay for items that were proving tricky to sell here but tbh after a few bad experiences on there I stopped, as a seller you're just totally at any scam-merchants mercy it seems.

I sell pretty much everything on FB Marketplace these days. Collection only so the buyer can come and pay cash. No issues so far with this method.

I'm not ever getting access to MM on here, the criteria required to get access is a bit OTT in my opinion, but I understand rules are rules.

Historically did well with mm but never keep my post count up to have access. FB marketplace is pretty good as for most of our stuff in the community the searchers will be enthusiasts and just happy to find what they want near them.

Definitely the MM here... I haven't sold anything here, but other then that the only thing I've sold was an AMD 5850 GPU (sold to the high street trade in place, because they were offering twice the reasonable market value at the time).
Actualy a friend sold his 5850 to them for the same price even though it was cooked (from aggressive OC, it'd start throwing massive artifacts after it was warmed up, around 45 mins on desktop load :P )

I wouldn't sell anywhere else, I usually either give some bits away or they sit in boxes/cupboards until they're obsolete :D ... I really should have a clear out.

Everyone I've dealt with here (as a buyer) has been fantastic in terms of any issues, or chucking me in a couple of freebies if they wanted shot of them.

For people over 1k posts, you just need 15 per rolling 90 days (excluding MM, new members and testing sections), so less than 1 per week avg....
(for those not yet at 1k, GD doesn't count towards overall post count!)

I think this is a pretty low bar for access to such facilities - just chip in on a few subjects, particularly recommendations in the upgrade/new build areas :) (and as far as I know, I've never lost access since they implemented that, even when I've been very quiet on here and not consciosly trying to maintain access)

Just like to give a shout out to GPUsed hope i am not breaking forum rules but as its used cards hopefully not. I just sold my rx6800xt to them for more than my local pc outlet or cex offers for it probably got an extra £50 or so. Lovely guy to deal with and after some concern with payment for it he said he had a typo error with my paypal email and missed a letter..anyhow while on the phone he re-submitted payment and i recieved monies fine. Also saved on postage expense as he got Royal mail to.pick gpu up from my home for free !
Couldnt be happier with the service from them

I've sold a ton of gear on eBay over the years and never had an issue and have also bought a corresponding amount. Latest was a 7970X Threadripper, ASUS Pro TRX50 WS Mobo, complete with 128GB of ECC 6000Mhz RDIMMS, for a chunk of change. Gear was perfect and went through with no problems and arrived in 2 days.

I think as a buyer you have do research, use some common sense and check out profiles, other items for sale, etc. etc. but when it comes to selling, I do agree it's a bit of a lottery.

Never really used Facebook for selling but it seems like you're restricting your buyers to those in your local area which can limit your exposure

Sold two GPU's at CEX (1080ti and 3090), got a price I was happy with both time and no issues. Would probably use again as the ebay way is too stressful.

My two cents, it’s strict and high but completely valid. Edit think I may have quoted the wrong post

I listed a phone on avforums, didn’t go on there for a couple of days and a user asked if they would accept £650. a brand new user impersonated me (my username had a lower case L, they copied my name but the L was an uppercase I) and messaged the guy that offered saying I’ll accept that and please send payment

The TL;DR is a poor bloke sent £650 to a Nigerian scammer, it still could have been avoided if he’d have checked who messaged him etc, but I felt awful.

The MM used to be great and I used it quite a bit. As a seller you'd usually get a bit less than you do on ebay (but only a little, cos you need to account for ebay fees), however the whole process is a lot more trustworthy and there aren't any scammers on here. I haven't used the MM since the post count rule was implemented so no idea if that's reduced the activity or affected it somehow. It's a bit annoying tbh. I've been a member for 15 years or so, but I don't have much time to browse the forums and contribute a lot. Neither do I want to just spam posts to get to 15.

Sold a lot of stuff on the bay but recently sold a sound card and now the guy wants a re fund so I had to pay for a label to send back to me. Let's see if it's all there. Wouldn't care I let him have it way under asking price. Card itself is fine just the add in daughter card apparently no aux input? Wouldn't know I never used it. Offered a partial refund and he would have still gotten a bargain but no. It's going on the MM here I'll test it and disclose in my post. He's probably done me lol.

I've almost always used MM. No issues at all, selling to this community always felt more secure. I've lost MM access now due to the new posting rules.
Got some kit to sell and really do not want to chance the Bay. But the current sold prices I'm seeing are very enticing.

Yes the MM is great when you are not getting lowballed, I always try the MM first and give people here a chance to grab a bargain and if I get messed around with lowball prices, then I either keep the item or take it down to CEX if I have no real need to for it and even then I would end up keeping the item as a spare or for another system instead. Just not worth the hassle sometimes.

Most of my old gear goes to family members these days. Often for free - I earn more than they do. Some stuff would go on the MM if I had access, but I don't (I used to, and have good feedback from those days, but that doesn't count for anything any more it seems. Ces't la vie). Ebay would be my first stop for selling, then FB marketplace, or the local recycling centre if there's no other option. From an environmental POV, I do my best to ensure old hardware gets a long a life as possible, but don't have much time and energy to muck about these days (job/family/etc).

I miss the MM. used it for years but taking ages to get my post count back up :(

Sold a couple of ancient cards on the bay during Covid and got loads for them :D

Now my daughter likes gaming, looks like I’ll be selling very little going forwards :(
