Post your christmas bonus

Same, pretty much... got a box of some nice ciders, but that was because I couldn't make the xmas do as I was up until 4am working the night before (planned).
I get to work Christmas Eve and be on call all over the “festive period”

Last year I was in hospital so, does kinda feel like a bonus tbh.
Yeah, I've booked from EoP tomorrow through 5th Jan off, but am expected to check in a bit (unpaid) at points during that (I WFH so it's not a big deal, and I was asked rather than told tbf, boss is supportive and regularly tells me to stop worrying and fully check out when I'm off!) - only because almost my whole team have booked the same time off, as we all struggled to take enough holiday this year so had 2-3 days of 'use it or lose it'.

Edit: and yeah, being in a job where I've got a couple of unsolicited pay-rises and work completely remote, compared to a covid redundancy and then 2 years of being unable to work due to multipple surgeries,,, I'm ok with that! (and have always considered a bonus to be exactly that, a bonus)

.... and dammit, this thread is old enough to have an Onlyfans

I get to work overtime pre-new year, the extra money is my "bonus". One of my clients will give me an xmas box consisting of a box of wines or selection of craft beers like he always does. And maybe an xmas card and some heroes from someone else if I'm lucky.

I've been working temporarily for another catering company for three weeks until we start filming on the next movie in January and I received this as a bonus today! Probably the best bonus from an employer i've ever received!

Well my "Christmas bonus" is HMRC adjusting my tax code, meaning that this month I seemingly don't pay tax as I've received a bit more than I was expecting.

Which of course means that next month I'm gonna get absolutely bent over :p

I got....

Nothing..

And our employer decided this year was no Xmas presents and our Xmas party would have a contribution to it not be fully paid for.....

So we've gone from present, decent drunken night out and a 1000Kr thanks. to ..... bugger alll in 3 years

Tbh at least I've still got an "easy" job that I generally enjoy :p

-£24 from paying for the Xmas party I didn't go to as urgent work came in on the day and worked late instead.

Car parking has gone from £36 to £74 a month. So cancelled that.
Will break even depending how often I am in and If I switch to another car park. Less convenient, more travel, higher chance of a ding in the door.

I've had better months, on the plus side I've kept my mouth shut on occasions which would have resulted in a P45. So win I think !

We all got £60 pounds for a Christmas party, ours got spent on a Christmas buffet where I’ve likely have picked up Covid.. and a box of maltesers truffles.

I think most of the £60 went back to the company as we had it in the music room in the great house, own by the company.

We don't and never have done Christmas bonus - but the real rub was cancelling the Christmas party because there is no budget - in a year with record profits :D

No Christmas bonus this year, but we've got a Christmas party after work today, which is all paid for by the company.

What I'm looking forward to the most is having time off. Last day of work today then I'm off until the 5th of Jan.

Can't remember the last time I saw a Christmas bonus from a company, no matter how rich or profitable they were. Maybe 2008? Everything just seems to go to the CEO/Execs these days.

They did pay for a Christmas dinner though, including booze.
