Time is more valuable than money, I'd call that a win.We got Christmas Eve off with pay. Not great, but better than nothing I guess!
True, and I'm not complaining, but many moons ago, when the company was considerably smaller, we used to get a properly decent Christmas bonus.Time is more valuable than money, I'd call that a win.
What is strange for the bug tech company I work for, bonuses and stock afe still decent and salaries continue to grow above inflation. But somehow there is literally zero budget for a Christmas party, not even a few drinks and snacks in the offices. Can't remember the last time I saw a Christmas bonus from a company, no matter how rich or profitable they were. Maybe 2008? Everything just seems to go to the CEO/Execs these days.
They did pay for a Christmas dinner though, including booze.
100%!Time is more valuable than money, I'd call that a win.
Maybe they just can't be bothered to host one and they're using budget as an excuse. What is strange for the bug tech company I work for, bonuses and stock afe still decent and salaries continue to grow above inflation.
