Thought I'd just post an update to this thread 
Kudos to OcUK,
I have spoken to the support team regarding the RMA, as I know they are busy at the moment, and they are honouring a return on it.
just received the RMA number and shipping label to box it up and post it back.
The only thing they wont replace is the cable kit, as I cannot find the order number or remember if it came from OcUK in the first place, as mentioned to the chap on the phone, I don't think it did as stock was scarce as they'd just been released at the time I purchased them. So that is totally understandable
I had no expectation of OcUK replacing that.
And yes I will be staying away from 3rd Party cable kits, no matter how reputable they are.
Will keep the thread updated on the process, and how it goes for those interested
