This has already been mentioned on the forum, I thought it was worth its own thread!
 
For those who are DDR4 rich but DDR5 poor

Asrock always helped out in the past, nice to see them doing the same albeit those considering it will look at it as a temporary solution
 
To be fair, if you have a i9-14900K there's a chance it's going to degrade into the silicon equivalent of an OAP on a zimmer frame anyway.

Might as well bung it directly into the proverbial retirement home.

They've done it for LGA1700 but I've no idea if it's even architecturally possible for any others.

This new motherboard has DDR4 and DDR5 RAM support, and it took an AI-pricing surge for that to finally become a thing

This motherboard has 6 DIMM slots for your RAM, and I hope that becomes a more widespread design point
