Anyone tempted by Flight Sim 2024? Wasn’t aware it was even coming to the PlayStation. Loved it back in the day and if there is a ‘career’ mode im very tempted.
Nope. One of the buggiest / poorest releases on PC in modern history. Sure, they may have polished things up for the PS5 release ... but I have my doubts.

Well, ps5 pro ordered as the brother in law came round, was asking about it, came to a deal for him to take it away as he was desperate to play a game for a while. Next stop, TV upgrades.

Saying that, I've had this amp a good while now so may need an update soon enough too. More priorities over a PS5 upgrade I would say then!
Look at the Denon X3800H. If you can get a good deal, a decent amount of power per channel, multiple subwoofer outputs if that's your thing, all the HDMI inputs support 4K120/8K60, and it supports every standard you'd need, plus it'll do Bluetooth output to a headset incase you need it for evenings, which some won't.

Don't change your speakers or sub if you're happy, just swap out the amp :)
Thrown in a 65" LG OLED C5 or similar, and you're laughing.

The ONLY thing I would say is be prepared to go through and swap all your HDMI cables. Whilst most will do 1080p no issues, I found 4K60/120 + HDR to be far more exacting, and I had to swap a fair few cables.

VERY much worth it once done though!!

Why is it every time I speak to you in here, it costs me money?

No, I'm a bit simple at times, He is takig my PS5 OG and I've ordered the pro.
Now you just need to hit the other 2 buttons. You know you want to. I mean look at what happened to RAM after we last spoke ;)

There is a reason multiple people are advocating the OLED upgrade. Throw in the more modern amp and you're in happy town.

I hope people are buying additional PS5s otherwise where have you been for the past 5 years?!

Not everyone wants one immediately. I still am not all that interested. Was still using my PS4 Pro till I got back to PC gaming in 2023. This gen just doesn't grab me like in the previous years.

Will likely get one eventually for 4K Blu-Ray watching.

I have to say after buying my pro it an amazing time to buy a PS5 or Pro.

There so many amazing games to choose from I can’t workout which one to start with :cry:

Kids which are getting one for Christmas are going be very lucky specially if it their very first PlayStation :)

Just a note: I would get all the games/updates installed prior to Christmas. Nothing worse than unboxing it and waiting hours to get going.

I told my work mate he should get the pro he bought for his son for christmas setup now as it could take hours.
But he said no and wants to wait till after he son opens it on christmas day.

For myself a huge part of the enjoyment of something like this is setting it all up, But of cause everyone is different.
