Got to feel for Amorim. Yoro and Heaven have cost us the last 2 games. Not because they are young but because they aren’t paying attention and aren’t at the races too often.

I question Heaven the other day but you’ve got to allow him time, he’s playing in a 3 or at least it looks like that. Hardly getting any help or guidance.

Yoro on the other hand has been a rabbit in the headlights since day one.

They definitely seem to need De Ligt or Maguire with them to maintain focus.

Its really basic stuff though. Its not like we are criticising them for failing to track a man in a packed box coming in late. Heaven just didn't go out to the guy running straight towards our goal and Yoro couldn't be bothered to run to close down Rogers...twice. Rogers who is the most in form player in the league at the moment arguably. Rogers who has been banging them in from range for fun. Rogers who had done it to him once already today.

Theres no excuse.
 
Lacey coming on, as well as Fletcher earlier... interesting given all the talk of the academy recently.

I’m thinking it’s more this myself as well.

Guys still a kid really and has only a few games at this level.
 
Its frustrating because we have actually been playing pretty well recently. You can't make 2 or more simple mistakes per game at this level against good sides.

3 fouls in a row there on Cunha there and no card. Oliver really is a **** referee.
 
Don't think we can complain with the result. Considering Villa are only 3 points off top and our squad is thread bare.

We gave them a good game.

Mount is starting to get back to his old form which is nice to see.

Hopefully Bruno will be back after Christmas.

Meh, lost to a team in great form and lost due to two moments of brilliance from an individual/poor defending. Thought the performance was good in general considering how weak the team was

I fancy throwing my hat in the ring to be our next left back, Malacia and now Dorgu..
