Post your christmas bonus

There is a certain something about a good quality hamper, though something a bit pathetic about a mediocre/poor one.

I got paid my overtime, on time, and not months later, which makes a change. I also aquired some additional holiday through a secret loophole thanks to the way the system works. If it's noticed, it's the "sorry, I totally didn't remember". **** those ***** :D

My partner got some plant seeds as a bonus during COVID times. NHS as well.

To be fair, I am pretty sure that most companies either don't pay bonuses or its a joke of like £100. She seemed to think that its common to get good bonuses in the private sector. I told her that shes been hanging around with too many ****** banker types.

My last place i used to get £70, nothing big but helped out with buying some nice food for christmas.

during covid they furloughed most people and i was stressed out like nothing else through to October. That christmas we didnt get one and it really really peed me off. Handed my notice in a few days later.

Our "bonus's" are in march, through PAYE

however, for xmas gift, we get a £50 voucher at xmas

I have the last 3 years worth of xmas vouchers still available (so £150 ) plus i have about 100's worth of birthday vouchers left to spend

yay

Up until last year we got a "Christmas tipple" of our choice, but the company was bought out last year and this seems to have been quietly swept under the rug, so this year a total of SFA!

Nice,

They keep giving out company branded presecco at this place, this stuff gets me a little squiffy

We get a store voucher, £60 this year. Keeps Christmas dinner cheap or helps out in never ending January :D

£0 and no company Christmas party and it's a worldwide company with a variety of product lines.
First place I've worked where apparently employees had to pay to attend in previous years.
Makes my previous company appear generous by comparison.

Where I work 20 years ago there was a decent amount of money put up by the company for the Christmas do including covering the alcohol bill, in more recent years it was subsidised and you still had to pay about £15 and on top of that you had to pay for any drinks, since COVID there is no company budget for it at all - we didn't even have a works do this year.

Some of the early to mid 2010s ones were wild - we got banned from 2 venues! different crowd in more recent years though.
