As a Wolves fan, I feel we are shockingly bad, the results tell everything anybody needs to know.

The major problem is FOSUN (our owners) have ripped the spine out of the team, selling every single player who makes a more than enough profit to buy a Starbucks coffee.

We have a team of none premier league players with zero experience of our league, the majority are realistically not good enough for the league.

Of course morale is at an all time low, not helped by the fans chanting negatively and boo'ing our players.

We will be in the championship next season without a shadow of doubt.

I feel we may win 2 games all season, hopefully one is against West Ham, as they are also terrible currently, but are managing to collect some pts here and there.

As you said it's a real struggle.. although I honestly believe we're better than we're playing.. the confidence is at an all time low.. i've played in teams where you can't buy a win, and it's not always about talent.. it's about confidence..

We're going down.. no doubt about that.. and all I can hope is that whatever happens between now and then, we can get some sort of confidence back or it will be another 11-12 / 12-13 run where we drop twice in two seasons..

Rob Edwards is probably not the manager we needed to stay in this league, but hopefully he can do ok when in the championship..

It's sad times for us fans.. and I half think we should have kept our players at the back end of 23 and took the points penalty, and same the next season.. it's not like its affected other teams, but we sold our players to comply, and we haven't changed anything since then.. selling more and more.. and not replacing them with simliar quality..

Our clubs struggles are down to our owners being under pressure a few years back to try to balance the books for FFP rules (or whever it is named now). Our club has a limited income due to a number of reasons.

1. The fan base whilst very loyal is very localised, we don't generally have people outside of being from Wolverhampton as fans of our club.
2. Our fans average wealth is not great, Wolverhampton is known for having a low level of general wealth with relatively high levels of unemployment or low paid jobs.

We went too far with the making money on players vs keeping out team strong enough to compete well.

Wolves did try to reach out via signing a Korean player and others (looks at our Portugese successes) to entice new fans, the spending and loyalty of that seemed rather limited from an outside POV from a fan like myself.
Hwang wasn't a Spurs "Son" quite like they had hoped for.
Personally I buy 2 shirts every season for myself, and at least 1 other item from their clothing range in support of the club. I also buy my son at least 1-2 shirts every season too.

Our club does have a reasonable sized capacity stadium, actually bigger than some other clubs (Bournemouth). But I thin we suffer other sales, like merch etc, I guess we don't sell as much as other clubs manage to sell, again due to lower average incomes vs other clubs fans.

Is it surprising when they've lost all these proven players in the last 3 years, all to be replaced with bargain basements on low wages? The club has slowly been stripped of its assets and it's finally caught up

Whilst it's looking very bleak at Wolves two things I believe that are working for you is undoubtly have played better football than the results show and takes a special bloke in Rob Edwards to come in when the whole gaffs on fire and think I can do something here
