Hi, I want to build an office PC for my son, so, if you don't mind, I'd like a bit of advice please.

I don't need monitors, mouse or keyboard and I was hoping to use an old Chieftec mid tower case that I have, if possible but if not, I'd go new again.
He needs duel display BTW
He won't be gaming, just a decent build.

Budget about £700.

Thanks in advance.

Uses? If not gaming then any video/image editing? Any particular needs re: RAM or storage? If you don't need a GPU then the world is your oyster really as if you need dual display you could either use an old GPU you have or buy a cheap n cheerful one purely for output.

My video edit PC ( thanks to the help from this forum) uses 32GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 and its flying for me so, DDR4 would have been my choice.
The PC would have been for a busy home office business.
Storage 1TB for system will be fine, I can add extra internal storage myself later.

I used to have an old GPU somewhere but of course I can't find it. :) Would you still get a driver for the old ones?

What cheap one would you suggest? :)

Thanks for Dell suggestions, I could look into that too but I'd think I'd like to build something for my son.

Thanks all so far.
