Yep. That's also why I suggested having a pinned thread with image host suggestions. Imgbox has been suggested multiple times and as far as I can tell, there have been no issues with using it on the forum that have been seen with postimage or imgbb.

Imgur has blocked the UK

At this time I see little ill effects from the current legislation on the statute books and some good. There is a lot of potential for harm with the current implementation ranging from identity theft, fraud, reputational damage through to access to educational information on sensitive subjects...

For my use case (non OCUK), Imgbox.com does not work for several of the forums I use. I need to post multiple image links at once. But Imgbox.com is ok for the odd random image.

Glad I saw this thread, I've been using postimages to post images on this forum since the 2000s, any word on why it's banned now? Shame as there's nothing really comparable feature wise :(

Ahh I saw @Feek clarified, looks like some numpties have been using it wrong and spoiled it for all of us, boo.

That's not a thing that happens anyway, the form will scale images based on the resolution of the viewer, this feature was added years ago.

I just checked and this isn't actually correct, those examples are just from plebs linking the images wrong and triggering that. I have threads on here with images from postimages that are working fine well over 5+ years later.

I don't think it's banned in general (AFAIK) but there is a note on that one particular thread, I guess it's not like imgur which just flat out won't be suitable now for a UK forum.

Most people have google photos if on Android, is there a reason we can't use that to host? I feel like I even used to use it, but then can't remember why I stopped. Is it because people can find out from the url your account or traverse through your other pictures?
